Plushgun is gearing up for the release of their debut album, Pins and Panzers, with a handful of live shows in New York and Boston. Come in out of the cold to see the band on Monday, January 26th at Union Hall where they’ll be playing with Kiss Kiss and The Gay Blades. Then join the full-frontal fray on Wednesday, February 18th in NYC and Thursday, Feburary 19th in Boston. Plushgun are pleased to share their upcoming full-length, Pins and Panzers. The early reviews have been ecstatic! Amplifier called Plushgun “…another example of the new musical generation of technological whiz kids…highly energized indie pop.” NYLON premiered the bittersweet star-studded video and MTVu had a fantastic interview with Plushgun mastermind and not-so-evil genius, Daniel Ingala. The band has also released a music video for “Just Impolite” with director Tyler Shields, featuring Juno Temple (“The Other Boleyn Girl,” “Atonement,” “Notes on a Scandal,” and upcoming “Mr. Nobody” and “The Year One”), Brittany Snow (“Hairspray,” “Prom Night,” and upcoming “Clock Tower” and “The Vicious Kind”) and Shiloh Fernandez (“Cadillac Records” and “The United States of Tara”). Pins & Panzers features cover art by Patrick Smith (www.blendfilms.com), and is the third Plushgun release to feature original credited work by an innovative Brooklyn artist; the other two were done by Yoko Furusho (single for “Dancing in a Minefield,”(http://yokofurusho.com) and Beth Newell (http://www.bethnewell.net/) who did the self-titled EP art.
