Roseanne “Hitler” Barr, Bakes Gingerbread Jew Men in Oven

roseanne2

Apparently, the comedienne has no fears about wading back into controversy.

Heeb magazine writes of the photo shoot: “As the ‘Domestic Goddess’ dons the famous moustache, transforming into ‘Domestic Goddess Hitler,’ I notice that she’s beginning to have fun. She nails the Fuehrer’s facial expressions with twisted glee, and as she takes the burnt gingerbread ‘Jew Cookies’ out of the oven it occurs to me that Barr may be the last celebrity utterly incapable of giving a fuck—a quality theoretically easy to embody until it’s time to face the practical repercussions…As we wrap up the shoot, Barr puts her Swastika armband, one of the gingerbread victims and a Polaroid of herself in the costume in a Ziploc bag, making it look like evidence from some bizarre crime scene. She plans on bringing it to her 13-year-old son when she picks him up from school. ‘Maybe this will make my kid like me,’ she says with a sigh. ”

It was for a Jewish Magazine … it was suppose to be funny because of her outrageous reputation. It was also their Germany Issue.

I am all for a good laugh…But this stunt goes beyond tacky and poor taste…. I realize Rosanne is no longer the biggest celebrity in the world. I am sure she thought that pushing the envelope would cause a buzz or excitement in her career…However I draw the line at making buck or laughing at glorification of Hitler.

    what the hell?!?!?!
this is not funny at all, actually it’s really makes me sad. how can people lough about something like that?!

As a Jew I think its funny, Roseanne is a Jew also….we need to laugh, we have cried way to long.

Well reese you obviously miss the point. Roseanne is being edgy- challenging stuffy traditionalism with an avant-guarde point of view. Madonna humping Jesus on stage or any of a thousand other examples shown to us by the thundering herds of self-loathing elite individualists in our culture. So you don’t miss MY point, let me be more clear: The more I think about this the angrier it makes me, ‘course I’m not a German or a Jew so my opinion probably doesn’t count. Maybe I’ll finally catch on when one of these deep-thinkers dons a turban and bakes up some headless infidels.

Perhaps it’s because I was born and raised in Germany and know the havoc Nazis have and STILL reek on Germany’s social fabric, or I am closed minded (most likely the former), but this is disgusting and disturbing!

Proportionally, there are more neo-Nazis and hate groups in the state of PA than any southern state. The NPD is running amuck in some German provinces.

    • JoJo, Portland

If you can laugh then the Neo’s will have no power over you. If you act fearful or sad they have won…..I am laughing here.

  • refeek

    she’s just too funny

  • ubercon

Yeah, I’m sure that’ll do it. What kid wouldn’t like having that for a mother?
