We Should Be Teaching Kids About Gays and Lesbians. Well, Here’s How

When you mention the possibility of teaching — in schools! — young kids about what The Gay is all about, some people freak out and, like a mother throwing her arm around her child sitting shotgun in the car, get all protective. They think even a conversation about homosexuality means seven-year-olds will be learning about anal sex. And yet somehow, when a teacher posits a “boyfriend and girlfriend split the dinner check” to explain an arithmetic problem, or tackles the whole “how babies are made” question, the possibility of telling kids about penis-in-vagina sex isn’t such a big concern. But it turns out, there is a way to talk to young people, even grade school kids, about gays. And not only is it possible, it’s crucial.

    NO I DONT THINK KIDS SHOULD BE TAUGH OR INFORMED ABOUT GAYS AND LESBIANS IN ANY SCHOOL.EVERYONE WANTS OUR KIDS TO LEARN ABOUT THINGS THAT DONT MAKE THEM A BETTER PERSON.THEY SHOULD BE TAUGHT NOT TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST OTHERS IN GENERAL.PRAISING OBAMA LEARNING ABOUT GAYS NO.JUST GIVE THEM A GOOD EDUCATION AND LET THEM HAVE A LIFE.THEY WILL LEARN ABOUT DIFFERENT THINGS AS THEY GROW

    It’s a great idea to teach kids at a young age what homosexuals mean. There are just too many bad connotations associated with the words gay and lesbian. The younger we teach children, the less fear and hatred they might have towards people who are different. Please continue to educate them so they will not be as ignorant as those who uphold the value of Christianity that everyone is born equal.

    Children should know about gay people for their safety. They need to know that GOD makes people of many life styles to show love of life. Some people show safe desire of enjoying life with same gender which will still allow man and woman to enjoy their life together. Even gay people adopt to help other young people live their lives.

    As for the how babies are made this can be explained about how man and woman get together to reproduce and create a new life after their teenage years. This way there are no mistakes happening during the boy and girl stage of life. Being young you still can have enjoyment with your girlfriend or boyfriend doing homework and playing games together, but please postpone the enjoyment of sex until after high school graduation.
