Note very carefully, the state law specifically bans gay marriage, but nowhere does it mention domestic partnerships, a civil ceremony. Sounds to me like Julaine is Aesop's dog in the manger. Well, eventually, the dog will be tied up, outside the barn, to sleep in the rain. She doesn't seem to get that if you try to abridge someone elses rights, down the road, someone else will use the same system to abridge hers. It's always the thief who screams loudest about being robbed.
