Celebrating the milestone 20th Anniversary of this international cultural phenomenon March 30 through April 4, 2010, Mariah Hanson (Club Skirts founder) is keeping The Dinah tradition alive: an event hallmarked by the hottest lineup of celebrities and entertainers, lavish locations at deluxe hotels and participants totaling a record-breaking number of 10,000-plus..

And this year is no exception!

The highly anticipated event will take place at The Palm Springs Hilton Hotel, The Hyatt Regency and The Palm Springs Convention Center for what promises to be the best EVER Dinah weekend extravaganza.

Club Skirts is not just breaking grounds, it is making History!

In the span of two decades Hanson has created a legend, built an impressive empire and raised a historical Dinah’sty whose names read like the who’s who of the entertainment industry: from The Pussy Cat Dolls, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Indigo Girls, Pat Benatar, the cast of The L Word, Uh Huh Her, Margaret Cho, Joan Jett
 to Carmen Electra, they have all become Dinah Alumni!

Who can forget 2009? That year made The Dinah EPIC, not only in securing the performances of a Grammy nominee (Katy Perry) and a Top Ten Billboard artist (Lady Gaga) with the then # 1 Song in the country, but as well in being the most attended Dinah ever despite the economic crisis.

And for 2010… Hanson’s done it again securing another exceptional entertainment roster of Top Notch artists including THE Billboard pop artist with the current # 1 hit in the country.

Joining the stellar line-up is the current # 1 charting pop sensation and newcomer Ke$ha with her infectious tune “Tik Tok” – the first # 1 single of the new decade dethroning Jay Z and Alicia Keys’ five week reign at the top of the charts and stealing Lady Gaga’s “most downloaded song on iTunes” record – who will take over the stage of the Palm Springs Convention Center Friday night at the legendary White Diamond Party.

Another huge headliner is the historically groundbreaking hip-hop trio Salt’n Peppa who will rock the house during Saturday night’s Hollywood Party also at the Convention Center – the biggest concert venue in the sunny Oasis!

“It was important for me to have my headliner be as historical and legendary as The Dinah – it’s not everyday we get to turn 20!” says Hanson

Also appearing is “Paradiso Girls”, the Will I Am produced all-girl band from the creator of The Pussy Cat Dolls, as well as British dance club siren Lolene whose single “Sexy People” is taking dance floors around the world by storm!

On the comedy front, Celebrity stand-up comedian & media personality, Rosie O’Donnell is making her highly anticipated return to stand-up comedy exclusively at Club Skirts Presents The Dinah® on Friday, April 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

O’Donnell’s Dinah show will officially mark her long-awaited, and overdue, return to stand-up – a debut which O’Donnell distinctively wanted to offer as an exclusive to Mariah Hanson and Club Skirts Presents The Dinah®..

Also new this year is a special comedy show hosted by Suzanne Westenhoefer featuring ten minute- sets by some of the most notorious lesbian stand-up comedians in the country including Bridget McManus, Nicole Paone, Gloria Bigelow, Erin Foley and Sandra Valls.

New exciting activities added to the weekend fun-filled agenda include Dinah Comic – an American Idol like contest to select THE best stand-up comedian; and a new partnership with the trademark brand “The Hottest…” which will host its “Hottest Lesbian” finals at the Dinah for the winning prize of $5,000.

And what would The Dinah be without its trademark larger than life pool parties!

But this year, Hanson is partying with a cause hosting a never-been-done before “No H8 Sunday Pool Party” with celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley – the creators of No H8 Campaign. Ladies can individually be photographed and join The Dinah group shot which will be added to the ongoing campaign.

Continuing her activist efforts to raise awareness among the LGBT community about marriage and equality rights, Hanson, who sits on the Board of Equality California, is certainly producing THE ultimate Dinah – the party of a lifetime, but nevertheless a party with a cause.

To that end, a unique celebrity fashion show sponsored by “No H8” Campaign will be hosted during the White Diamond Party on Friday, April 2 following Ke$ha’s performance with parts of the proceeds going to Equality California.

For the first ever since her coming out, “Family Ties” actress Meredith Baxter will make a public appearance joining the prestigious panel of celesbians and entertainment luminaries that will grace the catwalk in support of the LGBT community’s fight for equality.

“It was important for me to invite Meredith Baxter to participate in this fashion show,” comments Hanson, “it was very courageous of her to come out the way she did and to right off the bat publicly take such an activist stand for same-sex marriage. I have nothing but admiration for her and was thrilled when she said yes.”

Also new this year is the creative and original battle of the webisodes hosted by OML, and a never-been-done-before astonishing circus in and beer garden.

A plethora of celebrity hosts will also join in the fun throughout the weekend and walk the coveted Dinah red carpet Friday and Saturday nights including actors Jill Bennett, Cathy De Buono, Elizabeth Keener, Briana Stockton, former Top Chef contestant Jamie Lauren and many, many more.
