This says nothing to the many thousands of men who have been out there since time began, living a married and supposedly 'straight' life, all the while carring on with homosexual sex behind the scenes. Some eventually come out, some don't, but MANY of them have children, and thus perpetuate the gene in the pool.

You don't need a study to tell you that most of the bees in the beehive never get to reproduce--the drones! This is nothing new. Gays serve many roles in a society. I don't know why scientists couldn't get past the thought that everything had to evolve for reproductive purposes for so long. And gays are not mutant mistakes in evolution, either. If the human being is surviving because of his greater mental capacity, and not because he is a strong and fast animal with sharp teeth and claws, then doesn't it follow that the hemispheric connections that gays are shown to have in the brain would enhance the evolution of the body of knowledge and inventions that mankind can produce. Creativity is also part of evolution.
