Judge Denies Motion To Halt D.C. Marriage-Equality Law

A District of Columbia Superior Court judge yesterday refused anti-gay Maryland preacher Bishop Harry Jackson’s request for a temporary injunction against implementation D.C.’s same-sex marriage, Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act of 2009, that is expected to take effect on March 3rd, at the end of the 30-day Congressional review period.
