When you hear Miss Beverly Hills 2010 Lauren Ashley in on a Bible-based bashing of gay marriage, is this something to pay attention to? Or is this just the ramblings of one semi-privileged young girl with modest platform?

“The Bible says that marriage is between a man and a woman,” says Ashley. “In Leviticus it says, ‘If man lies with mankind as he would lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death and their blood shall be upon them.’ The Bible is pretty black and white.”

Sure, she’ll be competing to become Miss California in November, and her comments may have already handicapped those chances.
