    I have been preparing the tax returns of my partner and myself for 30 years. Never is the un-equal protection of the laws so obvious as when we pay these income taxes, and yes, the inequity of the tax burden should I die before my partner and he has to pay income taxes on jointly held assets. Married couples do not have to pay that tax.

    That’s why the Fed Gov. will never okay gay marriage – they’ll make less money – it’s always all about the money!
