Counter-protesters say efforts not wasted despite fundamentalist no-show.Mar 15th, 2010 | no responsesPosted by OIA Staff in NewsSeventy or so demonstrators wearing wings made of sheets lined up in front of the Brookfield Theater despite heavy rain and high winds to block the public view of protestering Members of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., which planned to picket outside the theater during its last performance of “The Laramie Project”. The angels lined up along Whisconier Road and cars honked as they drove by.
